A group of actors come together to perform the classic fairy tale, The Princess and the Pea in the style of Commedia dell'Arte, the comedic predecessor of television shows like I Love Lucy, Friends, and Saturday Night Live. However, between Rosetta's demands to play the fairy godmother and Arlequin's insistence that he will not play the pea, who knows if this highly-improvised show will be the same Princess and the Pea story we all know?
The Commedia
Princess and the Pea runs
Saturdays, April 20 through May 18 with performances at 2:00pm, and an extra
performance on April 20 at 12:00pm. Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 through brownpapertickets.com.
