RTAA and the Nash family want to announce that because we were so impressed and overwhelmed by the number of qualified and talented applicants that we opted to find the money for a third scholarship! This will not necessarily be the case in the future but we wanted to recognize as many of our talented students as we could.

Congratulations to our winners!

The Commedia Princess and the Pea

A group of actors come together to perform the classic fairy tale, The Princess and the Pea in the style of Commedia dell'Arte, the comedic predecessor of television shows like I Love Lucy, Friends, and Saturday Night Live. However, between Rosetta's demands to play the fairy godmother and Arlequin's insistence that he will not play the pea, who knows if this highly-improvised show will be the same Princess and the Pea story we all know?

The Commedia Princess and the Pea runs Saturdays, April 20 through May 18 with performances at 2:00pm, and an extra performance on April 20 at 12:00pm. Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 through brownpapertickets.com.

Soon the Rains Will Come

Floods, fires and disasters!! The clash between the "Village People", the Developers and the Critters show us why we should save our rain forests and what could happen if we don't. With favorites like "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", "Soon the Rains Will Come", and who could forget Dr.'s Bibbity, Bobbity and Boo saving poor General Harpy E. Gull (Guest Artist Michelle Raskey!!!!) with their rendition of "The Witch Doctor", this show is an experience not to be missed!!

Tuesday Cast performs Thursday May 9 and Friday May 10 at 7pm.
Wednesday Cast performs Thursday May 16 and Friday May 17 at 7pm.

Tickets are $9.
