Summary:
The Lion King JR. tells the story of the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king. Along the way, the young lion encounters a colorful cast of characters including spunky lioness Nala, charismatic meerkat Timon, and loveable warthog Pumbaa. To claim his rightful place on the throne and save his beloved Pridelands, Simba must find his inner strength and confront his wicked Uncle Scar.

Audition Info: You must be between the age of 9 and 18 on audition day to be eligible for this camp. Please prepare an audition song from a musical (not The Lion King). 16 bars only, 32 if cut-time. Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided for you. Please dress to dance or bring additional dancewear; you will be taught a short dance combination at the audition.
Callbacks: If you are called back, congratulations! You made it into the camp! The camp registration fee of $300 will be due upon arrival, Saturday, March 20th at 5:00 p.m. This payment must be made before the audition for parts begins. This is a non-refundable payment.
Showcases: This camp will culminate into a weekend of showcases, June 25th and 26th at 7:30pm and June 27th at 2:00pm. Due to restrictions from the state and county, it is unclear if we will be able to have all three scheduled showcases. At this time, only two are allowed (Friday and Saturday). We will update the cast as we learn more from the state and county.
